Our Story
About
Craft, origin, and a quiet obsession with chocolate
We began with a question
CRUMAIRE was born in Islamabad out of a simple and stubborn question: why should premium chocolate be a thing imported, rather than made? Pakistan sits close to some of the world's most extraordinary cacao-growing regions. The conditions for making something truly exceptional already existed. What was missing was the intention to do so.
We started small — a kitchen, a stone grinder, and an obsessive attention to temperature, time, and taste. Every batch taught us something. Every failed bar sharpened our understanding of what made a great one. Over months of refinement, a language of flavour emerged: clean, deep, unhurried.
Made in Islamabad
Our workshop sits in the capital, surrounded by the kind of quiet that good work requires. We grind slowly. We conch patiently. We temper by hand. The result is chocolate that carries the character of its origin — expressed with restraint and precision.
A premium offering, deliberately so
CRUMAIRE is not competing on volume or price. We make a small number of bars well, and we stand behind every one. Each product is conceived as something to be given, savoured, or kept — an object as intentional as the craft behind it.
Principles
What We Stand For
Every bean has a story. We source with care and transparency, honouring the farmers behind each harvest.
Stone-ground, slow-crafted. We resist shortcuts and embrace the labour that separates good from great.
Less sugar. No fillers. Clean labels. What you leave out is as important as what you put in.
Made in Islamabad. Designed to last. We are proud of where we come from and what we are building here.
